I was taken aback as I immediately recognized this iconic figure.

What surprised me more was that in a matter of minutes I had forgotten the image I had made without knowing her, and replaced it with a a new image - one of an warm, intelligent and engaging woman.

As I look back, the entire evening was full of special people. It was an eye-opening lesson in just how normal we kinky folk may be.

Fond memories, indeed.

JeffreySublivion2khttp://sublivion2k.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1458862844610146892.post-3135137723026746912011-03-11T07:59:31.707-05:002011-03-11T07:59:31.707-05:00Subdued -

But today it feels comfortably cohesive.

Ya, email me your stories. Love to hear 'em!

Aarkey -

I try for a modicum of propriety. Incentive gift certificates from Girdlebound or Kiss Me Deadly are probably not HR proper!

It is fun and oddly comforting to have a such a good worker and understanding friend in the office. Especially during this time of intense and painful transition.

Whizzer -

Ha! Glad you liked my descriptive conjuring. Life feels whole and not fragmented these days. Secresy replaced by privacy and true connections with real friends is a wonderful thing.

Plus, getting set up on blind dates and hearing suggestions on where to meet, greet, and hopefully prowl a bit are among my current life's coolest benefits.

Thanks for dropping by!!advochastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602192383025913039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1458862844610146892.post-29205917311004814622011-03-10T18:30:46.303-05:002011-03-10T18:30:46.303-05:00Advo,

You do such a wonderful job of portraying it I feel like I know the players!

I really admire how you are bringing together in your life all of these previously divergent aspects. Seems like your stars are aligned. What an awesome confluence!

And I'm sure you're a wonderful boss. Better behaved than I am for sure, I'd be hard pressed not to give big gift certificates to places like Purple Passion to her :)

See ya soon!Aarkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08835944871054417961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1458862844610146892.post-87115867240959135542011-03-10T15:35:58.077-05:002011-03-10T15:35:58.077-05:00A really great post. I've had my own vanilla-world encounters with pro-dommes but have reacted to them very differently. I love your post because it's a kind of a vicarious take on another way I could have engaged with them. Maybe I'll relate my stories... more likely in an email, though.Subduedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04683712403859578059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1458862844610146892.post-35600207425293874022011-03-07T22:44:42.030-05:002011-03-07T22:44:42.030-05:00HMP -

I think it took lots of trust and courage for her to come work for me.

It's actually been great for my office and nice to get to know her a little.

I hope the post is as much about fantasy person versus reality person. And about me trying to live as close to one life as I can get.

I'm really happy my life isn't so fragmented without having to sing my subbie-ness from the tree tops!

Funny, it makes for a good story, but the ex-domme-ness part is such a distant second to the full person part of her presence.advochastyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10602192383025913039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1458862844610146892.post-51353393592305779752011-03-07T19:01:12.856-05:002011-03-07T19:01:12.856-05:00Great post! And congrats to you for handling yourself with characteristic subbie savoir fare and aplomb!
